Wittenberg Sportsman Club
 
We have the following Black Powder Shoots scheduled for July, August, and September.
The September shoot will have two classes of shooters: 1) Modern In Line, 2) Traditional Patch & Ball.  Prizes will be awarded separately between the classes.
 
Traditional Patch & Ball Blanket Shoots
   Where: Pond Property
   When: July 29th   &   August 12th
            Sign In 9am to 11am at Fishing Shack
    Cost: $12 + Blanket Prize ($10)
            Lunch will be available @ Pavilion
The course has been shorted for July 29th and August 12th shoots. The course will follow main road from the fishing shack to the rifle range and will be closed to vehicles during the shoots.
 
2-Class Blanket Shoot:  Modern In-Line + Traditional Patch & Ball
Prizes awarded separately between the two classes.
   Where: Pond Property
   When: September 23
            Sign In 9am to 11am at Fishing Shack
    Cost: $12 + Blanket Prize ($10)
            Lunch will be available @ Pavilion
* Traditional Patch & Ball shooters are encouraged to participate in September 23rd shoot and will shoot in a different class than In-Line.
 
Blanket Shoots: Participant will bring an outdoors sports related prize with $10 approx. value. Prizes are placed on a blanket at sign in. At the end of the shoot:  1st place
shooter has 1st pick of prize, 2nd place has 2nd pick and so on. Participants that do not bring a prize will be charged an additional $10; the $10 will be placed on the blanket as a prize.
 
Modern In-Line Black Powder Rifles
Bullets/sabots will need to be 100% lead. Not jacketed.
Traditions and Thompson Center makes non-jacked 100% lead bullets/sabots and are available from on line retailers. Sportsman’s Guide also has non jacked target sabots too.
